Distinguished Educator

A secondary school in Launceston is seeking a full-time English Teacher, starting in January 2025. This long-term supply position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to teach in a well-structured and collaborative English faculty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels
• Maintaining a well-organized classroom environment and associated resources
• Working effectively with colleagues to achieve academic goals
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Hold QTS or equivalent qualification
• Have recent experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
• Possess good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Desirable: Relevant English-related degree
