Prison Pharmacy Opportunity in Hertfordshire

A unique part time opportunity has arisen for a B6-B7 Pharmacist to join the dispensary team at a prison service near Hertfordshire. This is an excellent chance for a pharmacist to gain valuable experience working within a prison setting, particularly suited for those new to this environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care and advice to the prison population.
  • Dispensary based role.
  • Ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services within the prison setting.

About the Role:

This part time position involves working x3 weekdays per week, ideally Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, from 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch). The pay rate is £23-£31 per hour, paid via PAYE Direct Engagement, depending on experience and banding.
