HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, including NDCs, RDCs, and trunking work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving within the WTD and EU regulations and rules.
  • Preparing vehicles for delivery.
  • Completing vehicle checks.
  • Refuelling vehicles.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

Working Hours:

The role involves working a variety of shifts, including Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Start times may vary between 2200pm and 0200am, with the possibility of working 1, 2, 3, or 4 shifts per week.

Pay Rates:

  • Monday – Friday: £15.87 (overtime after 47.5 hours: £17.85)
  • Saturday: £17.85
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: £23.80

Nights Pay Rates:

  • Monday – Friday: £18.13 (overtime after 47.5 hours: £20.39)
  • Saturday: £20.39
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: £27.19

Requirements:

  • In-date DIGI and CPC card.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organised individual.
  • Willingness to work weekends.
  • Motivated and open to learning new skills.
  • Excellent attitude to work.
