Main Responsibilities

To ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, we are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Major Recruitment Oldham Industrial.

Key Duties:
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, product development requirements, and engineering standards to optimize machining and production processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment, adhering to company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Produce high-quality seat plastics components through various processes, including injection molding, scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing, and assembly.
  • Operate and maintain workshop machinery, ensuring proficiency and adherence to company training programs.
  • Work within COSHH guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE, and read and understand basic engineering drawings and projection.
  • Assist with stock control, stores, inspection, part marking, and packaging, as well as attend training programs for ASL aircraft approvals.
  • Meet tight deadlines and work overtime during busy periods.
Requirements:
  • Competent in CNC programming and machining.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using standard measuring equipment and material traceability.
