About the Role

The role of the Civil Engineer involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the financial feasibility and profitability of the project. Utilizing expertise in Primavera P6, the candidate will manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for the rail infrastructure project.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources using Primavera P6.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather accurate cost data.
  • Assess risk and develop strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
  • Present cost estimates to management and clients, ensuring transparency and clarity.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the civil engineering sector.
  • Strong experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the rail sector.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to the successful candidate.
