We're seeking an experienced Equity Fundraising Manager / Business Development Representative to join our Commercial team, focusing on bringing top-notch early-stage businesses to our platform. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for start-ups and business development, who can build lasting relationships and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish connections with startup founders to understand their business needs and funding requirements, specifically targeting pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds.
  • ID and engage with the most exciting UK startups through outbound efforts.
  • Evaluate and qualify new investment opportunities from inbound and partnership channels.
  • Collaborate with startups on upcoming funding rounds and negotiate favorable terms.
  • You'll be immersed in the UK start-up ecosystem, attending events, building a personal brand as a fundraising expert, and networking for referrals.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to improve processes and provide feedback.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the alternative finance/start-up/funding industry and stay up-to-date with significant developments.

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience.
