We are seeking an experienced Associate Lecturer in Computing to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, contributing to the development and delivery of the curriculum, and collaborating with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in Computing, with a good understanding of the subject area, relevant syllabus, and modern teaching methods. They will be able to demonstrate expertise in delivering content that is current and aligned with industry standards. In addition to practical teaching experience, the ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject area and a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students, using a range of methods and resources to engage and motivate learners.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum, working closely with colleagues to ensure it remains current and relevant.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement and support a high-quality learning environment.
