At Jacobs, we're committed to delivering exceptional results and empowering our team members to excel in their roles. As a Senior CE&I Designer, you'll play a vital part in our team's success, working on the Box Encapsulation Plant project at the Sellafield Site.

The project is a critical component of Sellafield's 100-year clean-up program, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring its success. You'll be responsible for developing layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD, as well as creating CE&I installation designs using PDMS.

As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with other designers and engineers to ensure adequate space management and clash resolution. Your ability to develop high-quality designs and collaborate effectively will be essential to the project's success.

We're looking for an experienced EC&I Designer (PDMS) who can bring their skills and expertise to our team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional results and working on complex projects, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD
  • Create CE&I installation designs using PDMS
  • Collaborate with other designers and engineers to ensure adequate space management and clash resolution
  • Liaise with construction engineers to ensure resolution of installation issues

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop CE&I designs to a high level of detail
  • Experience in design engineering, including hardware designs, cabling infrastructure, and other general CE&I deliverables
  • Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD
  • Experience and knowledge of using and developing the PDMS Model
