Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team based in Mid Argyll Hospital, Lochgilphead. As an Occupational Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Qualified Occupational Therapy staff to provide meaningful and rehabilitation activities to patients on Succoth ward.
With a focus on promoting independence and improving quality of life, you will assist in delivering group and individual sessions, as well as carrying out administrative duties within the Team to ensure safe running of the department.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service to our patients, and your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Qualified Occupational Therapy staff in delivering rehabilitation activities to patients on Succoth ward
- Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Perform administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the department
Requirements
