Theatre Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner to take on the role of Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Specialist in our theatre department, providing expert guidance and support to the team and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain high standards of orthopaedic scrubbing practices, ensuring seamless operation of the theatre department.
- Maintain strong relationships with other departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize theatre utilization.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse or ODP, with a proven track record of leadership, teamwork, and continuous learning, demonstrated through certification or specialized training.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing competing demands, and maintaining attention to detail.
