We're seeking a skilled Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our team at The Wellington Hospital, a leading private hospital in the UK. As a key member of our Theatre department, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care after surgical procedures.

The Wellington Hospital is renowned for its state-of-the-art surgical facilities and highly skilled surgical teams. Our 12 Operating Theatres are equipped with advanced medical technology to support a wide range of specialties, including complex orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiovascular surgeries.

As a Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you'll be responsible for:

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and providing post-operative care
  • Ensuring patients' airways are clear and unobstructed, and providing interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care
  • Maintaining a sterile and safe environment in the recovery area, adhering to strict infection control protocols
  • Educating patients and their families on post-operative care instructions before discharge

Requirements:

  • 6+ months Theatre recovery experience
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
