About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Signalling Design Verifier to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our rail Signalling Business, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify railway signalling designs specifications and reports to ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and external railway contractors to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Mentor and support junior staff to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Provide technical liaison with other team disciplines, departments, and externally with the wider AtkinsRéalis organisation.

Requirements

  • Holds a current IRSE Signalling Principles Designer Licence and Signalling Design Verifier Licence.
  • Substantial mainline signalling design experience, including knowledge of UK railway standards, design processes, and procedures.
  • Design verification experience across a range of project phases, systems, and technologies.
  • Evidence of a strong commitment to the delivery of signalling designs to the highest standards of safety and quality.
