Support Young People in a Rewarding Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Assistant to join our team at Poppy Lodge, a registered independent accommodation for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

As a Residential Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our young residents to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • Undertaking household tasks
  • Engaging our young people in tasks and activities

We offer a competitive rewards package, including a basic salary of £25,116.00 per annum, sleep-ins paid at £45.00 per night, and funded qualifications, including a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare qualification. You will also have access to a wide range of health, wellbeing, and insurance benefits through our Flexible Benefits Platform Vista.
