Specialist Roles:

We offer specialist roles for graduates and scientists in geology, environmental geoscience, and related fields. Our programmes are designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in these roles.

You'll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.

Your Job Description:

You will undertake site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions for purposes including geological/geotechnical assessment, soil contamination, and groundwater quality. This data will then be used to either inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration, which would be designed, implemented, and validated to bring the site back into suitable use and protect the environment from harmful impacts.

Required Qualifications: BSc in Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Chemistry, Environmental Consultancy or similar. Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
