About the Role

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a skilled Bank Chef to join our team at Danybryn. As a Bank Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, fresh, and home-cooked meals to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff, ensuring a varied and culturally sensitive diet.
  • Cater for special occasions and events, such as birthdays and holidays.
  • Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate catering records and adhere to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Participate in inspections and audits to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage the catering team and prioritize tasks effectively.
