Electrical Estimator Job Description

CF Roberts Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering multiple large-scale projects locally and in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Tender folder is correctly maintained and up-to-date.
  • Review and analyze tender documents to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate estimates.
  • Record and submit all RFI's in the correct documentation and update SharePoint accordingly.
  • Prepare estimates in line with exact tender summary provided and list any assumptions, clarifications, VE, and conditions.
  • Submit tender and update SharePoint with all costs, and record details on CF Roberts Management system.
  • Follow up tender and record on SharePoint, and attend and participate in Departmental Company & External Meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and develop your skills in line with agreed training plan.
  • Use UK Terms and Conditions when submitting a tender, and attend Tender Handover Meeting when the project is won.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Estimator within the building services sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to use your initiative and adhere to best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider Estimating team and other departments.
