Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of skilled test technicians in developing and implementing high-quality testing solutions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, allocating resources and forecasting requirements for projects.
  • Contribute to planning and resource forecasting, setting priorities and direction for the team.
  • Distribute work according to project and business requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and deliver multiple concurrent projects in line with business imperatives.
  • Communicate stakeholder requirements, resolve issues, and make decisions in accordance with business plans.
  • Ensure technology delivery is effective, efficient, on-time, to specification, and cost-effective.
  • Supervise and support test engineers in their daily tasks.
  • Operate standard bench-top test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.
  • Fault-find electronic circuits and assemblies to component level.
  • Follow and communicate understanding of test procedures, processes, and technical documentation.
  • Deliver own work independently and facilitate the work of others.
  • Act as a lead, propose improvements to processes, and coordinate the work of others.
  • Perform and prepare test activities during product manufacturing.
  • Provide clear technical input and guidance.
  • Mentor staff to increase quality.
