Machinist Technician

The successful candidate can expect a basic pay rate of up to £18 per hour, with an annual salary of up to £37,440. You will also benefit from enhanced overtime rates, pension, free on-site parking, and on-site canteen facilities.

As a Machinist Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating manual lathes and boring machines
• Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality products
• Quality checking products to ensure they meet company standards
• Providing basic service and maintenance to workshop machinery

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience working with a manual lathe
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Full driving license
