Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team in the Department of Ophthalmology at East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with a range of eye conditions, including urgent care. They will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and will have the opportunity to develop surgical skills in theatre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with eye conditions, including urgent care
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Develop surgical skills in theatre
  • Contribute to the development of the ophthalmology service
Person Specification
  • Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training in a relevant specialty
  • Must have a GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Must have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
