Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer with a background in Python development? A rapidly growing marketing agency is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping their cloud infrastructure and automation processes. This role is based in Swansea, requiring candidates to be onsite twice a week as the engineering team is based in Wales and meets regularly in the office.

As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS. You'll collaborate closely with the development team, utilizing your experience in Python to build robust and scalable solutions. Additionally, you'll automate deployment processes, ensuring efficient and streamlined workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and more.
  • Develop and maintain IaC lines for seamless and automated deployments.
  • Contribute to Python-based development projects, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and reliability.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python development.
