Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at NHS Professionals.

About the Role:

The Barnet West Core Community Team is a dynamic and supportive environment that provides high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with complex mental health needs. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for treating adults with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treating adults with complex mental health conditions in a community setting
  • Working closely with the Primary Care GP Locality in the southern region of Barnet
  • Sharing leadership duties with a part-time substantive consultant to ensure high-quality care
  • Providing patient-centered and safe care in a supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Valid GMC registration
  • Right to work in the UK (note: we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience
  • Specialist Registration preferred but not essential
  • PayE payment only, we do not facilitate payment via umbrella or LTD company
