Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead our project bids process, ensuring a well-coordinated and considered bid can be presented for adjudication. The successful candidate will also manage the second stage of the bid, focusing on commercial, residential, and refurbishment projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement a bid strategy, leading new bids from concept to fruition, ensuring clear articulation of our offers, cost estimates, and final submissions.
  • Produce a bid brief and coordinate the tender team.
  • Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers for key packages, distributing tender documents and amendments as necessary.
  • Design and deliver presentations to potential clients, utilizing graphic design skills and external resources.
  • Ensure the quality of all bid aspects, including written documentation and presentations, ensuring clarity, concision, and compelling content.
  • Attend hand-over meetings, briefing the team on tender bids.

Requirements:

We are looking for a knowledgeable Bid Manager with demonstrable experience in the fit-out and refurbishment industry, having successfully managed bids from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, and have good team management skills.
