Tara Professional Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Needs Educational Assistant to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work closely with teaching staff, health staff, and other professionals to support students with special educational needs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the care sector or with special educational needs. You will be responsible for providing individualised support to students with autism, complex medical conditions, and physical and mobility difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct support to students with special educational needs
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to develop individualised learning plans
  • Communicating effectively with parents and professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships at all levels.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. This is a permanent full-time position, and we offer ongoing training and development opportunities.
