Bid Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bidding process for diverse and complex projects in the ground engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective bidding strategies to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage the bidding process from initial tender to contract award, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure ongoing business growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in remediation, enabling works, earthworks, civil engineering, or groundworks.
  • Candidates with operational experience in remediation or enabling works, looking to transition into bid management, are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, with a talent for negotiation and a proactive, 'win-win' mindset.
