Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Algorithm Researcher to join our team. As a key member, you will design and develop cutting-edge machine learning models for sports prediction, driving the accuracy and reliability of our algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development
    • Design and develop advanced machine learning models for sports prediction, leveraging ensemble methods and optimizing existing models for better predictability.
    • Explore new machine learning techniques and integrate them into our sports prediction framework.
  • Research and Innovation
    • Conduct research in machine learning and artificial intelligence to identify novel approaches for sports prediction, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
    • Collaborate with the product team to integrate new models and features into our flagship consumer product, GameScript.
  • Model Deployment and Optimization
    • Optimize and bundle machine learning models to serve thousands of predictions per hour, ensuring high-performance and efficient execution.
    • Partner with the product team to refine the user experience, integrating machine learning insights into our consumer product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data/software engineering, with a focus on machine learning and data science.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with strongly-typed languages.
  • Strong understanding of SQL-like databases and data pipelines, with experience in data preprocessing and feature engineering.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks, including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Experience with Onnx and Polars is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
