Job Title: Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting tenders for mechanical projects, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit tenders for mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and client meetings to gather information and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review tender documents and identify value engineering solutions to create a commercial advantage.
  • Liaise with specialist subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with tender documents.
  • Prepare offer letters and tender qualifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain company estimating department procedures and ensure all documents meet company standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE grade C or above or equivalent, ideally in Maths and Science.
  • BTEC HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with Estimation application in Trimble.
  • Proven track record of carrying out similar roles, estimating commercial, residential, education, and mission-critical projects up to £5M+.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: £45,000 - £55,000.
