Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Engineer to join our team at Calibre Search. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating systems, as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.
  • Be the first line of maintenance throughout your allocated sites.
  • Ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.
  • Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, including boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's, etc.
  • Adhere to safe working practices in relation to 3-phase and single-phase electrics and applications.
  • Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by management.
Requirements
  • Essential qualifications include ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A.
  • Desirable but not essential qualifications include City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 and City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition.
  • The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar mobile role traveling around the region from home.
  • Be able to deal directly with customers and on-site management teams.
  • Have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • A hands-on, can-do, and flexible approach to work.
  • Full driving license, as this is a mobile role.
