Resident Care Support Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Lakeview Lodge Care Home in Newton Leys, Milton Keynes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a friendly and caring attitude, as well as experience of administering medication and leading a team. You will also be able to engage well with our residents and their families, and have great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Aiding residents with their emotional well-being and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
- Supporting residents at meal times
- Mentoring and assisting new employees
- Implementing, monitoring and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
- Planning, allocating and supervising the work of the team of care assistants
