Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Precision Manufacturing Lead to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing all relevant documentation, routings, procedures, programs, tooling, and equipment to enable successful manufacture and testing of various valves. This role involves supporting skilled operators with production of prototypes and production products, as well as liaising with design engineering to overcome production and testing issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop CNC programs for multi-axis machines, including 5-axis turn-mill, sliding head turn-mill, and 5-axis milling.
  • Create setup sheets for CNC machines, including cutting tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment.
  • Support the prove-out of new programs across CNC machines, ensuring correct programs and setup sheets before handing over to production.
  • Develop solutions for manufacturing components using standardized tooling and production methods.
  • Design new cutting tools and workholding solutions where needed.

Requirements:
  • HNC level or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience working in an engineering-based role.
  • Ability to evaluate processes through capability studies and equipment reviews.
  • Able to design jigs and fixtures using CAD.

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per year based on experience.
