Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed engineering design activities, working closely with cross-functional teams on various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate technical drawings and specifications
  • Identify and resolve design issues
  • Support the business in preparing technical reports and documents
  • Participate in design reviews
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline or relevant industry experience
  • Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices
  • Proficiency in parametric/spec driven CAD systems, including FORAN
  • Experience in design working on Naval or Commercial Marine projects
