Job Title: Highways Maintenance Operative

We're seeking a skilled Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Transportation team in Easton Lane, Winchester. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient running of the Area 3 network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out highways maintenance duties as instructed, including winter maintenance when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to incidents on the network and notify the Network Control Centre accordingly.
  • Operate a variety of plant and equipment to carry out required duties effectively.
  • Work closely with team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence
  • Experience and knowledge of strict H&S operations and its practical implications
  • Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team
