About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a sub-contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in social housing properties within the Westminster area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
  • Provide clients with advice and guidance on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
  • Relevant qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
  • Own van and tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Clean DBS check
Benefits and Pay

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a sub-contract Gas Engineer with Rock Managed Services, offering a competitive daily rate of £300+ per day. You will enjoy flexible working days and full van stock supplied.

Working Arrangements

The ideal candidate will be available to work a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work on the road, visiting social housing properties in the Westminster area.
