About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our multidisciplinary consultancy in Brighton, East Sussex. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on building and property issues, including technical, financial, legal, environmental, and sustainability matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on building and property issues, including technical, financial, legal, environmental, and sustainability matters
- Undertaking building surveys with photographic schedules
- Monitoring the deterioration or defects of a property and offering advice on repair work
- Assessing the impact of unexpected damage or adverse conditions on a property and providing advisories
- Preparing tender documentation and contracts for programmes of work
- Managing projects and/or multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- RICS recognised degree or equivalent in Building Surveying or a related field
- Chartered status (MRICS)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop and nurture junior staff
What We Offer:
- Salary range: £47,000 - £56,000 dependent on experience
