HR Support Specialist

We are seeking an HR Support Specialist to join our People Services team at the General Medical Council in Manchester.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide HR administration support to managers and colleagues throughout the GMC, advising on day-to-day activities such as onboarding, pay, employee benefits, absence management, and casework support. They will also have the opportunity to support disciplinary or grievance procedures through notetaking.

- Support disciplinary or grievance procedures through notetaking
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- An ability to understand HR-related policies, processes, and procedures
- An understanding of GDPR, privacy initiatives, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Strong organisational skills, dealing with several priorities at the time while maintaining accuracy
- Proven experience of HR administrative support, with a track record of updating people/payroll-related systems
- A competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
