Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Automation Specialist to join our team at Wipro.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network automation, with expertise in tools such as Cisco NSO, Itential IAP, and Python programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership to our development squad, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and meeting customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to developers to ensure they meet project objectives and produce high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with the lead developer and product owner to design service intents that meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to the VMO2 strategy set by the architects and lead developer.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong networking skills, including L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP, and IGP.
  • Experience with workflow engines, such as Itential IAP.
  • Proficiency in Unix (REHL, Centos) and Python programming.
  • Working knowledge of NETCONF, REST, RESTCONF, SOAP, and source control tools like GitLab.
  • Ability to visualize customer requirements into a sequence of automatable steps.
  • Working appreciation of agile methodologies and CI/CD development approaches.
