Senior AML Consultant Role

We are partnering with a global fund manager to fill a Senior Anti-Money Laundering Analyst position in their dynamic financial crime team based in Southampton.

About the Role

This senior-level position is perfect for an experienced AML professional looking to develop their skills and ensure compliance with current regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough Client Due Diligence (CDD) reviews and evaluating AML risks.
  • Reviewing and assessing complex CDD cases, escalating to senior management as necessary.
  • Providing training and guidance on AML policies and procedures across the business.
  • Preparing and submitting AML reports, reviewing client documentation, and conducting periodic reviews.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A strong background in AML, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC policies, Client Due Diligence reviews, and risk evaluation.
  • Familiarity with UK AML regulations, with a bonus for experience with Channel Islands or European regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments.
