Job Summary:

24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating an HGV 2 delivery vehicle, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an HGV 2 delivery vehicle
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
  • Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Professional experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
  • No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
  • Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a Class 2 vehicle
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an HGV vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers
