Location: Cambridgeshire, UK
Salary: £15 per hour (Umbrella Company)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Wednesday (1pm - 8pm), Thursday (12.30pm - 8pm), Sunday (8am - 8pm) or 30 hours a week, Wednesday (8.30am - 4pm), Thursday - Friday (8.30am - 3pm), Saturday (8am - 8pm)
Job Type: Temp to Perm Role, requiring DBS check
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in providing support to individuals in need, with a focus on mental health.
As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks and providing emotional support. This role requires a collaborative approach, working effectively with other healthcare professionals to achieve client goals.
Main Responsibilities- Providing emotional support and encouragement to clients, promoting their overall well-being
- Assisting clients with daily tasks, such as personal care and household chores, enhancing their independence and quality of life
- Supporting clients in accessing community resources and services, connecting them with relevant networks
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized plans, ensuring client needs are met
