About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-skilled Maintenance Craftperson to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing reactive and planned building works and repairs across our healthcare NHS buildings in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of building maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and new installations.
  • Work safely on workshop equipment and in various environments, including hospitals and mental health facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a customer-focused attitude.
  • Use computerised systems for managing maintenance, including CAFM or BMS.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Recognised and registered CITB minimum three-year apprenticeship in Carpentry/Joinery AND/OR City & Guilds Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery or NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery Benchwork or City & Guilds or NVQ in Bricklaying or recognised apprenticeship.
  • Safety in the Use of Woodworking Machines (1998)
  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Registration
  • Manual Handling training
  • Minimum two years experience of Computerised systems for managing maintenance systems including CAFM or BMS.
