About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Raw Materials Planning Lead to lead our materials planning efforts, ensuring seamless execution of raw materials procurement, inventory management, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and experience with SAP MRP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging expertise to own materials inventory levels, ensuring optimal balance between service level and cash flow.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including NPD, Procurement, and Supply functions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency, performance, and reliability in materials planning processes.
  • Setting and managing targets for tactical and strategic factory materials and inventory plans, driving year-on-year stock value/inventory turnover improvements to support UK Supply Chain targets.
  • Coaching and developing departmental team members to build bench strength in materials management.
  • Representing Materials Planning on local, regional, and global projects regarding Commercialization, CCI, and engineering changes.
  • Driving the implementation of Material Supply Management Capability Frameworks, including materials strategic master planning.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or a related business field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with data to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in SAP MRP and other relevant software.
  • FMC Experience.
  • Project Management.
  • Change Management.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
