Job Description

Retrofit Lead/ Retrofit-focused Building Surveyor

Up to £70,000 + Package

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor with a specialisation in retrofit to spearhead the growth of this service line for a leading property company in Central London.

Our client is a highly-regarded, internationally renowned and prestigious real estate company, and this is a very exciting, strategic hire for an expert to develop the specialist service line within an established and notorious Building Surveying team.

  • Be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality retrofit projects, conducting detailed building surveys, and providing expert advice to clients on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance.
  • This will involve leading a team, developing business opportunities, and ensuring that all projects meet regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Retrofit Projects.
  • Conduct Detailed Building Surveys.
  • Client Consultation and Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients on retrofit solutions, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of surveyors and project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and retrofit strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project).
