Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in IT Cybersecurity? We are seeking an experienced IT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of supporting and debugging complex live operational systems, including monitoring of logs through tools such as Splunk / ELK stack. They will also have experience of Linux server administration, technologies such as Apache NiFi, MinIO/ AWS S3, and managing and patching Java and Python applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on maintenance to ensure critical systems remain operational
  • Monitor systems to ensure maximum availability
  • Support the wider development team in working through critical issues and remediating them
  • Identify technical risks/opportunities and proactively develop plans to mitigate and realise them
  • Maintain accurate documentation including a record of issues and faults along with solutions

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
