Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, procurement, and contract administration.

  • Liaise with pre-construction teams to receive contract documentation and ensure timely procurement of subcontract works.
  • Prepare and agree subcontract final accounts, releasing retentions as necessary in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
  • Monitor project costs, including preliminaries, design fees, utility fees, subcontract, and materials, to ensure accurate forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Assist Contract Managers in preparing preliminary budgets for Director approval and targeting.
  • Produce detailed quarterly forecasts and cash flows, reporting on a monthly basis on cost value reconciliation and discussing provisions with Managing Surveyors.
  • Prepare applications for payment in liaison with the Client's Representative, including a projected final account sum.
  • Ensure interim certificates are received in accordance with the contract terms and monitor non-receipt of payment from the Client.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure expectations are met, keeping the Site Team informed of the financial position of projects.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Knowledge of JCT Forms of Contracts, NEC, and PPC200 contracts.
  • Experience working in partnering frameworks.
