About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students facing challenges related to their emotional and mental health.
  • Work closely with teachers and the school's SENCO to create individualized strategies that help students thrive academically and socially.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies and knowledge of safeguarding practices within a primary school context.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
  • Solid understanding of the specific challenges they may encounter in a mainstream classroom.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and ability to implement effective behavior management strategies.

What We Offer:

Competitive PAYE rates of £85 to £90 per day, with weekly pay provided through school timesheets. A Monday to Friday schedule and an immediate start available following registration with our team.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' and offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.
