About the Role


You will be part of a team responsible for delivering parcels and post to customers in a designated area. Your day will start at a local delivery office where you will sort mail for your route before heading out to complete your deliveries.


The role involves using a hand-held device to capture customer signatures and navigating to the most efficient delivery route. You will work independently but as part of a team, interacting with customers and ensuring timely delivery of packages.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you should have a strong sense of community and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, with a preference for a clean licence.


You should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Some experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous.


Working Conditions


As a seasonal postal assistant, you will be required to work across various locations, including on foot and in a van. You may be required to deliver a mix of parcels and post, and you should be comfortable with this.
