We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic social work professional to join our integrated Mental Health & Substance Misuse Team at Craigroyston Health Clinic.

Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in working with people who have mental health or substance misuse issues. As a key member of our team, you will undertake a comprehensive range of social work tasks including needs assessment, risk assessment, care planning and care management. You will also work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a high-quality, responsive service.

About the Role

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may also be required for individuals who have spent time outside the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • To undertake a comprehensive range of social work tasks including needs assessment, risk assessment, care planning and care management.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a high-quality, responsive service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional qualifications in social work.
  • Significant experience of working in a social work setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to form good relationships with vulnerable groups of people.
What We Offer

  • A salary of £37,500 - £44,000 per annum (pro rata).
