At Grant Thornton UK, we're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis Manager to join our Valuations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality valuations and analysis to our clients.

About the Role

As a Financial Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert valuation advice to clients, informed by a deep understanding of valuation standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Articulating complex valuation issues and summarizing company, industry, and market information to support valuation conclusions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively throughout projects, and contributing to challenging discussions.
  • Managing smaller engagements from inception to completion, prioritizing commitments across multiple projects, and liaising with the valuation team and wider Grant Thornton project teams.
  • Supporting the development of junior team members, providing coaching on valuation issues and report writing, and offering constructive feedback.
  • Researching and developing training materials, delivering sessions to the team, and sharing relevant knowledge to strengthen the team's capabilities.
  • Identifying opportunities to develop your own specialism, strengthening your network, and generating new valuation opportunities for the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valuations experience in S&P Capital IQ or similar databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work and analysis.
