About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Designer to join our team at Shared Services Connected Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex IT services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Service Design documentation that describes support requirements for services as part of the Service Design Pack.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to establish and document non-functional service requirements for new or changed services.
  • Establish and document service acceptance criteria that projects must achieve before being accepted into BAU operation.
  • Ensure that all changes are assessed and handled in accordance with contracts with end clients and third parties.
  • Lead from a Service Design perspective for technical changes, engaging with technical teams to ensure options analysis, proof-of-concepts, and system impact assessments are completed satisfactorily.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Service Design roles involving complex IT services.
  • Experience in leading impacts to Service, driven from technical changes and documented non-functional requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within complex service models with system and service integration between third parties in the delivery of end-to-end services.
  • ITIL qualified.
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of Agile ways of work and DevOps pipeline delivery.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tooling (ServiceNow).
  • Previous experience working within Public Sector or Defence Industry.
