Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of specialized teams tasked with installing solar panels, heating systems, water cylinders, insulation, roofing, scaffolding, and lighting.
  • Technical Oversight: Possess a strong working knowledge of at least one of the systems being installed, and be able to guide teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that installations meet both technical specifications and safety standards.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Mandatory Certifications: Candidates must hold Health & Safety, First Aid, and SMSTS certifications. A CSCS card is also required, with a preference for candidates holding a Black CSCS card, though Gold will be accepted.
  • Asbestos Awareness: Understanding and awareness of asbestos is crucial, given the nature of refurbishment and installation work.
  • Scaffolding Awareness: While formal qualifications in scaffolding are not required, scaffolding awareness is desirable. You should be able to identify potential issues and ensure that scaffolding work is performed safely.
