As a Supported Housing Officer with Spider, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable individuals in need of urgent accommodation. You will work independently, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and provide support and guidance to residents. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £50 per hour, with potential review after a 6-month probation period. This role offers a range of benefits, including company pension, cashback healthcare and dental scheme, one month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service, 24/7 counselling helpline, enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption pay, access to store, leisure, and travel discounts, cycle-to-work scheme, and more. To succeed in this role, you will require previous experience in supported accommodation, aiding vulnerable individuals dealing with financial hardship, homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. A qualification in housing, social work, or community work would be desirable, as well as experience in a security or caretaker role.
